Association of Women Committees for Social Work

The Association of Women Committees for Social Work (AWCSW) is a registered non-governmental, non-profit
organization, founded in June 1981. The AWCSW forms a basic pillar of the Women’s Movement in Palestine. AWCSW programs use a field approach and focus on capacity building and raising awareness based on community mobilization. AWCSW is considered a pioneer for the programs offered to Palestinian women and communities. (www.awcsw.org)

AWCSW is seeking experienced, and highly qualified candidates for the position:

Position Title: Program Manager
Location: Ramallah
Duration: 1 year

Responsibilities:
-Deliver program objectives within the allocated time, budgeted cost, and at the proper performance or specification level
-Ensure that program deliverables are implemented within the agreed criteria.
-Provide effective leadership to the program team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience.
-Ensure that realistic program and quality plans are prepared and maintained and track all activities against the plan
-Supervise and edit programs reports, Prepare quarterly and accurate reports to General Manger 
-Facilitate and mentor staff to produce quality work.
-Develop detailed implementation plan, M&E tools and Monitoring framework.
-Maintain good working relations with donors, government, NGOs, networks, media, stakeholders and beneficiaries. 
-Foster and sustain a positive, innovative, results-oriented work environment.
-Provide day-to-day supervision and support to AWCSW program staff.

Requirements and Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public relations, or related field with solid relevant experience is required.
-3-5 years of relevant work experience as a Program management.
-Proven commitment to women's empowerment and community mobilization
-Knowledge of program management techniques and tools
-Excellent public speaking and writing skills in English
-Fluency in Arabic required
-Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Program management
