Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an independent humanitarian medical aid organization committed to

two objectives: providing medical aid whenever needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender,
and raising awareness of the plight of the people who helps. MSF is working in more than 70 countries all around the world.

MSF-Spain is currently seeking to identify:

1 COMMUNICATION & ADVOCACY CONSULTANT (no fixed schedule, on needs basis)

Description of the post:
Assist the Head of Mission in implementing the communication and advocacy strategy of MSF Spain in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and Israel: media management, (developing and following up contacts with local media – press, radio and television), content production (writing, editing and translating stories) and content diffusion (briefing of the staff participating in interviews, talks...).

Requirements:
-Education: Essential degree in Journalism, Communications, Humanitarian affairs, Political Sciences
or related university degree.
-Experience: Essential previous working experience of at least 2 years in communications, journalism
or public relations. Essential previous working experience in producing communications content (articles, press release...). Essential experience with humanitarian and/or Human Rights organization.
-Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet).
-Languages: English and Arabic essential (oral and written).
-Administrative status: Ability to travel between Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories
