Bethlehem Arab Society For Rehabilitation (BASR) is a non-profit non-government organization that is nationally

recognized for the comprehensive specialized inclusive health, rehabilitation and development programs and services it renders to the Palestinian population, particularly persons with disabilities, through its varied centre based, outreach and community based programs. BASR is currently seeking to fill the following position:

Position Title:Project Accountant
Location:-Beit-Jala
Contract:-3 years / part time.
Accountable To: BASR’s Project Financial Officer


Key responsibilities:
-Monitor the progress of projects.
-Investigate project budget related variances.
-Approve expenses.
-Prepare and follow up on project related contracts.
-Maintain and update project-related records / documents.
-Review and approve project related supplier invoices.
-Organize payment of project related invoices on a regular basis.
-Prepare project related financial reports as required.
-Propose and prepare project budget amendments when necessary.
-Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required.

Qualifications:
-A bachelor's degree in business or accounting.
-Excellent communication and writing skills.
-At least one year of experience in project accounting.
