موظف إداري - GIZ - رام الله

“GIZ Civil Society Programme (CSP)“


is looking for a full-time (40 working hours per week)
“Administrative Officer”


In your function as Administrative Officer you will work closely together with and support the Head of Programme.

Main responsibilities and tasks are:
-Contracts Management: The position holder will prepare all local subsidy contracts with partner organizations and ensure the correct financial reporting by partner organisations including
-Vetting and preparing budgets
-Ensuring that all supporting documents are complete and preparing contracts
-Ensuring that all vouchers and invoices and financial reports have been submitted correctly and on time by partner organisations
-Preparing payment requests
-Monitoring Cash Flow: The position holder will monitor and update the annual cash flow of the Civil
Society Program
-Other administrative tasks: The position holder will deal with financial and administrative issues relating to the Development Advisors and the CSP team including
-Managing the petty cash
-Arranging international travel
-Checking car logs and reimbursement for expenses
-Preparing payments for rent contracts
-Informing Development Advisors on GIZ financial and administrative guidelines and ensuring that these are met
-Reimbursement of CSP team for operational costs

Other duties/additional tasks
-To communicate with GIZ HQ in Germany
-Take up additional responsibilities if needed.

Required qualifications:
-Minimum BA in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration, Master Degree preferred
-Minimum 4 years working experience at mid-level in an international or national NGO or governmental agency
-Good knowledge of SAP
-Excellent English language skills
-German language skills a highly valued additional skill
-Good knowledge of Project Cycle Management
-Ability to communicate independently with partner organizations
-Ability to work in an intercultural team
